Global has patented a truly attractive holder which gives you more than a just a grade!  Yes, we do give you a grade, but the INFOSLAB also features a quality, state-of-the-art, digital color photograph and an informative paragraph describing each coin along with its grade.  These descriptive paragraphs are written by Jeff Garrett, Tom Mulvaney and other numismatic professionals.  And, most importantly, the INFOSLAB truly protects your coins in an attractive holder like no other in the industry! Our insert materials include inert materials which retard any discoloration of your coins. 

We call our INFOSLAB “The Holder That Communicates” because you get “The Whole Story and Not Just a Grade”!  And speaking of grades, Global’s philosophy is that coins should be graded Accurately and Consistently.  Jeff Garrett and Robert Paul are considered in the industry to be “World-Class” graders.  Consider, too, Global’s INFOSLAB is tamper-proof and is easily stackable for easy storage and display.

Who are we?

Our principals have over a century of experience in numismatics and include:

Jeff Garrett, President and Grader, has 26 Years of Professional Experience in the Numismatic Field and is considered one of the best coin graders in the country.  He has been a PNG member since 1982 and regularly attends dozens of coin shows and auctions throughout the country.  Currently, he is President of Mid-American Rare Coin Galleries, Sarasota Rare Coin Gallery and Global Certification Services, Inc.  He was also President of Mid-American Rare Coin Auctions, which was a “Top-Five” Auction House, from 1983 to 1992 and one of the first coin graders employed by PCGS in 1986 and 1987. 

Robert Paul, Vice President and Grader, is known as “The Dealer’s Dealer” in the numismatic business.  He is a member of over 15 numismatic organizations and attends over 40 coin shows and all major auctions every year.  A full-time dealer since 1981, Robert is Owner and President of The Numismatic Trading Corporation now known as Bob Paul, Inc.  He has been a contributor to both the Red and Blue Books of United States Coins since 1985.  Bob is also a lifetime member of the NSDR (National Silver Dollar Roundtable) and publisher of the “new” Van Allen & Mallis Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan & Peace Dollars. 

Tom Mulvaney, Vice-President/General Manager, has nearly 30 years Professional Experience primarily as a licensed Numismatic Auctioneer, Buyer, Writer and Photographer.  His numismatic photography has appeared in hundreds of articles, books and catalogues for nearly three decades. Among his many achievements, Tom was the Chief Photographer and Auctioneer for the Sale of the John Jay Pittman Collection which realized nearly $30 Million during the late 1990’s.   He is a Life Member of the American Numismatic Association and has taught numismatic photography seminars at the A.N.A.’s Summer Conferences for many years.
